CMMR Mutants & Samples Catalogue

The CMMR’s objective is to make live mice, embryos, germ cells and somatic tissues and cells from our publicly accessible mouse lines widely available to interested investigators upon request. Every line is archived to ensure their continued availability as a resource for future use.

Several academic investigators have deposited mouse lines for public distribution at the CMMR. All such lines are submitted to the IMSR in their searchable database. The link below will bring up a list of all lines publicly available through the CMMR. Distribution of these lines requires execution of an MTA between the Donor Institution and the Recipient Scientist.

The Centre for Modeling Human Disease (CMHD) ENU mutagenesis program banks all lines as sperm at the CMMR. Mouse lines are searched by phenotype or heritability by clicking one of the links below:

The CMMR is the repository and distribution centre for the North American Conditional Mouse Mutagenesis project (NorCOMM), Canada’s contribution to the International Knockout Mouse Consortium (IKMC). Two ES cell line production labs contribute gene trapped and targeted cell lines to the NorCOMM library at the CMMR. The links below connect directly to their databases and enable searches by keywords or sequences.

ES cell lines from other International Knockout Mouse Consortium (IKMC) members can be searched at the IGTC, IMSR, the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, or KOMP.
