KO Knock Out
A mutant mouse containing a null allele for a gene under study, generated by homologous recombination in embryonic stem cells.

The freezing of sperm and/or ovaries as reagents of a mutant strain.
  Rederivation
The transfer of frozen or fresh embryos for transplantation in recipient females in order to generate a specific strain.
RACE reverse transcription and amplification of cDNA ends
  Sperm Assessment
Comprehensive sperm analysis that includes sperm concentration, sperm motility and sperm viability.
